A new radio system will save lives in DR Congo

Radio remains the most consumed medium in the world, despite the development of television and social media. It is also one of the most reliable ways to share and receive information in remote areas, when there is no phone coverage or even less, internet!

It was with great enthusiasm that our partners from Bukana and Kikimi in DR Congo tried for the first time the radio systems provided by the ASSK project. Their Health Centers will now be able to quickly call ambulance services and communicate epidemiological data in real time, and thus save lives!

In this video, nurses from Bukana and Kikimi Health Centers test their radios for the first time.
